There was a growing need for on-demand grocery delivery service, where local and remote customers could get what they wanted delivered next day, from their favorite store. Due to Covid 19 situation this demand increased even more. Our team successfully developed and implemented Shopify application according to customers specific needs. Now, few months in business already, Remerkt personal shoppers pick items from the store and deliver to customers doorsteps all over western Romania.
WHICH CHANNELS ARE NOW GENERATING TRAFFIC AND SALES?
Word of mouth has been very critical to our client in the early stages of our business. At this stage digital marketing efforts (Google Adwords, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) is still not on the table. First emplyees need to get familiar with the system and how it works. However, creating a social media presence and driving engagement via Google Adwords and Facebook we know will generated lots of traffic and sales.
WHAT BACK-END TOOLS AND APPS DID WE USE TO RUN THE STORE?
We used few apps to setup backend operation, however the most important are Shopify, Zapier, Stripe. Our orders are routed from our Shopify panel to our back-end app. We plan to build a very personalized experience where customers can interact with their shoppers in real-time as well as track their progress on a map.
